Conflicts are created and sustained by man. From this point, no conflict is insoluble and the resolution of these conflicts resides in each and every one of us. To reach this goal, it is necessary to reach a rational understanding of the world, to which the quality depends on our capacity to put the representations that we convey, into perspective. This turning point forms, according to MIRADOR, the keystone to peoples’ unity, and to the achievement of a world that is more sensible and exempt of deadly conflicts.

Originally designating local homes of the Iberian Peninsula, miradors were used to have a panoramic view from the top of homes, with their constructionof a circular balcony. The architectural invitation was to help to raise the soul and to open to the world; these towers have observed, in spite of themselves, the destruction of thousands of human beings during many conflicts.

The « A » from MIRADOR is replaced by a tetrahedron, a polyhedron made up of four triangles. It is the symbol of unity, complementarity and stability. The symbol is shown in perspective in order to incite taking a step back, a necessary step for a rational understanding of the world. It is transparent:  it does not promote or favour any vision, but instead, provides a direction: that of the elevation of the human spirit in its most dignified form.
