Discovery of discrimination linked to the Second World War
On November 13 and 27 and December 04 and 11, 2019, the MIRADOR association intervened with 6 members of the Youth and Cultures association. The latter planned to take them to visit the Struthof camp and offered to MIRADOR to prepare them for this visit. This is the reason why, during 4 sessions, the participants were able to discover what discrimination is and the causes and consequences of the latter with particular attention paid to discrimination against the Jewish people during the Second World War.
A session was held at the Multimedia Intercommunal Library (BMI) in Epinal; they were divided into groups and focused on a particular theme: the second world war, the Shoah and Hannah Arendt / Adolf Eichmann. The goal was to gather information to create a presentation that they made during the last session.
